Understanding Jet Engine Parts

The components of a jet engine cooperate to supply the power required for flight. The combustion chamber, nozzle, compressor, and turbine are important parts. Air is drawn in by the compressor, compressed, and then mixed with fuel and ignited in the combustion chamber. The nozzle channels the exhaust to produce thrust, and the turbine spins and powers the engine.
